Kinetic typography generator template

Bold type manifesto

In kinetic typography, the words are the picture. This 15-second, 16:9 example gives five short phrases different moves: staggered letters, a giant word, split baselines, a typing caret and a final grid. The original prompt below specifies the motion, type sizes and off-white, ink and coral palette. Use it as a starting point for a short statement, title sequence or text-led announcement.

Bold type manifesto — first frame

The prompt

Kinetic-typography piece with the words: 'Ideas move.' / 'Make them' / 'MOVE' / 'on screen.' / 'Type is the picture.'. Off-white background (#f4f1ea) with near-black type (#111) and one coral accent (#ff5a3c). Each phrase gets its own typographic move: letters dropping in on a stagger, a giant word filling the whole frame then zooming through a counter, words sliding on split baselines, a line that types with a caret, and a final lockup where all words settle into a tidy grid. Use per-letter <span>s animated on the timeline, big type (120–360px), crisp hard cuts between moves.

Questions

What does a kinetic typography generator do?

It turns written words into animated text. Size, placement and timing carry the message, so a text-led clip can work without filmed footage. This page shows an original example and the prompt used to define its animation.

How much text should I put in the prompt?

Start with 3–6 short phrases and give each phrase one clear move. This example uses five phrases over 15 seconds. Longer sentences need more reading time; reduce the copy or extend the duration rather than speeding every word up.

Can I copy the prompt before opening the studio?

Yes. The prompt and sample are public, and the copy button does not require an account. Replace the quoted phrases and palette before using it. Generation access and account requirements are shown in the studio.

Does this sample include music or voiceover?

No. The sample is a silent MP4. Its motion follows the text sequence, not an uploaded audio track. If you need music or narration, add a track in a video editor and check the timing against the words.
