Opus 5.5 video prompts
Written by us, for motion that Claude Opus 5.5 can build as code. Copy one, swap in your words, and keep the structure — timing, format and colors do most of the work.

No. 01 · Kinetic typography
Three-beat title card
A 6-second 16:9 title card on warm off-white. The phrase “Less noise. More signal.” appears one word at a time, each word dropping from above and settling with a small bounce on the beat at 120 BPM. Heavy serif, near-black, the final word in cobalt. Hold the full line for the last 1.5 seconds.
Tip: Name the tempo. A BPM gives the model a grid to time each word against.

Vertical quote reel
A 9:16, 12-second reel for a short quote split into four lines. Each line slides in from the left, the key word scales up 120% and changes to vermilion, then the line exits upward as the next arrives. Leave 15% safe margin top and bottom for platform UI.
Tip: Ask for safe margins on vertical formats so captions and buttons never cover the text.

No. 03 · Explainer
Compound interest in four steps
A 20-second 16:9 explainer. Step 1: show “$1,000” in the center. Step 2: a curved arrow labeled “+5% / year” loops back into it. Step 3: the number ticks up year by year to 10 years, with a small year counter top-right. Step 4: freeze on the final value and underline it. Flat shapes, two colors, no stock imagery.
Tip: Number the steps. Explainers come out cleaner when every beat is a separate instruction.

No. 04 · Data visualization
Bar chart race, five items
A 15-second 16:9 bar chart: five labeled horizontal bars for monthly signups, January to June. Bars grow and re-sort as the month label in the corner advances, each bar keeping its own color. Values print at the end of each bar. End on June with the leader highlighted.
Tip: Paste your numbers into the prompt as a small table; the animation will use them exactly.

No. 05 · Music visualizer
Radial equalizer loop
A seamless 8-second 1:1 loop: 48 thin bars arranged in a circle around an empty center, pulsing outward in a wave that travels clockwise. Deep violet bars on a cream background, center left blank for a logo. First and last frames identical.
Tip: Say “seamless loop” and “first and last frames identical” when the clip will repeat.

No. 06 · Logo animation
Assemble-and-settle sting
A 4-second logo sting, 16:9. Three simple geometric pieces fly in from different edges, snap together into a circle-and-square mark, then the wordmark types out to the right. A soft scale overshoot on landing, then hold for one second.
Tip: Describe your mark in shapes. The model rebuilds it from geometry rather than tracing an image.

No. 07 · 3D & particles
Drifting particle field
A 10-second 16:9 scene: a few hundred small mustard particles drift slowly toward the camera through soft depth of field, larger ones blurrier. Halfway through, they gather into the word “Ready” and hold, then disperse again at the end.
Tip: Give a count range for particles; it keeps the render light and the motion readable.

No. 08 · Social shorts
Three tips, one hook
A 9:16, 15-second short. 0–2s: a bold hook line fills the screen. Then three numbered tips, four seconds each, each with one large icon and a single sentence. End card with a handle placeholder. High contrast, large type, no more than eight words on screen at once.
Tip: Cap the words on screen. Short-form viewers read in glances.
